I just watched the sonic state super booth video on this and im sold on it. Like a hot rodded es1....buttons still sou d noisy though so theyre not rubber pads like i originally thought.

64 steps but it can have per track length (polyrythms) and conditional trigs so you can keepit intetesting.

Only question left is do i order before or after the move?

Posting from my phone or i would have linked the video.

Hey Nathan,
Honestly be patient and get the 2nd batch. From experience on the Elektronauts & Elektron users forum, Early model numbers were always the problematic ones. I never had any issues, because in Canada we never get the 1st runs of anything.
Just a thought... be patient... it does look like a fun unit for sure :)

Notnexactlynsure yet.....somewhere between Latrobe PA, about an hour from pittsburgh, and morgantown WV, home of the WVU mountaineers.

This puts us about2-1/2 hours from family, which is moreimportant to my wife than me. And ill br making morr money with less territory to cover. And housing is something like 60% cheaper on average....

Still, i will miss colorado, beautiful state and lovely weather most of the time.

I hope to only move onr more time after this into a permanent space where i can finally build a proper studio.

That's a pretty area. I've driven through there a bunch of times.

Digitakt appears to be shipping, at least for the Elektron pre-orders.

arrived last week :-)

beware of the beta state of the firmware...it's absolutely useless when it's receiving midi (constant freezes). playing with it solo i haven't run into any issues.

let me know if you've questions.

I'm VERY curious how the pads/buttons and knobs feel compared to the MnM? Softer, still clacky loud?

Got the DT awhile ago but haven't given it a whole bunch of attention yet. Made a few beats with it but I am still finding my footing/workflow with it. This is the first thing I've been happy enough with to record and share. Do really dig it and once I'm more familiar with it I'm going to add the sp404 into the mix. I see them getting along famously together

My roommate picked one up and I managed to get a couple hours alone with it. I really dig it. Once you learn it's workflow it's extremely powerful. There are definitely still some bugs though. It would switch out of looping mode when I modulate start point, and the screen has some glitches.
