Definately, definately gonna catch ths one. Apparently he's reviving his 'one-man" show, which is how he started in the late 1970's. I wonder. Do you think he knows about LivePA.org? I would think it's quite possible he's already visited. Then again, he's obviously busy as hell preparing for this new tour. If his tour gets some press - I have no doubt it will - it could be a real good thing for LivePA. Not that we have any cause or whatever, but he could certainly be a worthy champion of LivePA in general. Also, 'Audioelectronic' a member of this forum recently posted that he is making Dolby's midi controllers for his upcoming tour. I gutted it and used some Doepfer electronics + some custom interfacing for some of the controls. I dunno how practical it might be, but I have no idea what Dolby is going to be using it for. Weighted about 70lbs before I gutted it, it's down to about 30 now. It's not so much about the practicality of it, but it is a showpiece, purely for stage use.
